6 Day Tour to Lisbon and Porto including Fatima from Madrid

We start our journey from Madrid, heading towards Avila, a city renowned for its well-preserved medieval wall. After a brief stop, we continue to Salamanca, a city rich in architectural and artistic heritage. We then cross the Portuguese border to reach our final destination for the day, Porto, where we will spend the night.

After breakfast, we embark on a panoramic sightseeing tour of Porto, a World Heritage city. We visit the Cathedral, Stock Exchange building, and Santa Clara church. Later, we enjoy a scenic BlueBoats Cruise along the river Douro and visit a renowned Port Wine Cellar for a wine tasting session. The rest of the day is at your leisure.

We depart from Porto to Coimbra, home to one of Europe's oldest universities and the birthplace of Fado music. After some free time, we head to Fatima, a global pilgrimage sanctuary known for its impressive Basilica and the Cova da Iria, where the Virgin Mary is said to have appeared. We spend the night in Fatima.

We leave Fatima and head to the Batalha Monastery, a UNESCO World Heritage site. We then visit the charming fishing town of Nazaré and Alcobaça, known for its Gothic church and Cistercian monastery. Our final stop for the day is Lisbon, where we will spend the night. An optional traditional dinner with a Fado show is available.

We start the day with a sightseeing tour of Lisbon, driving through its main squares and avenues. We visit the Belem Tower, Jeronimos Monastery, Coach Museum, Monument to the Discoverers, Marquis of Pombal Square, and Liberty Avenue. The afternoon is free for you to explore the nostalgic corners of Alfama Quarter, the old city next to its Castle.

We depart from Lisbon to Caceres, a UNESCO World Heritage site known for its blend of Roman, Islamic, Northern Gothic, and Italian Renaissance architecture. After exploring the Plaza Mayor and the Old Town, we continue our journey back to Madrid, marking the end of our memorable tour.
