Start your journey with a flight to Ponta Delgada. Upon arrival, you'll be greeted at the airport and escorted to your hotel where you'll spend the first four nights. Get acquainted with your fellow travelers and tour guide over a delightful dinner.

Kickstart your day with a scenic drive to the legendary crater lakes, Lagoa Azul and Lagoa Verde. Enjoy a leisurely walk along the crater rim, absorbing the mystique of the green valley and the differently colored lakes. Later, wander through the charming village of Sete Cidades. In the afternoon, visit Europe's only pineapple plantation, uniquely grown in greenhouses, and take a dip in the warm sea at Ferraria, a natural thermal pool nestled in a volcanic landscape reserve.

Today, you'll journey to the hot springs of Furnas, home to 22 bubbling fumaroles. Stroll through the tranquil village and savor 'cozido', a traditional meat stew cooked by natural geothermal heat. Later, explore the Terra Nostra Park, home to 2,500 plant species and a mineral-rich warm bathing lake reputed for its therapeutic effects. On your way back to the hotel, marvel at the stunning crater lake, Lagoa do Fogo.

Spend the day at your leisure exploring Ponta Delgada, the capital of the archipelago. Take a leisurely walk to the city's beautiful churches, monasteries, and palaces. Consider visiting a museum, such as the one for contemporary painting or natural history.

Today, you'll fly to Terceira, the third largest Azorean island. Wander through the Renaissance town of Angra do Heroísmo, charmed by its quaint alleys, churches, and the dreamy view over the harbor. You'll spend the next three nights on Terceira.

Embark on a tour of Terceira Island, where you'll discover enchanting landscapes and hidden gems. Walk through the wine-growing area of Biscoitos, renowned for its lava stone formations. After a short lunch break, visit the volcanic cave Algar do Carvão, formed about 2000 years ago, located in the center of the island.

Enjoy a relaxed day at your hotel or explore the surroundings. Your tour guide will be happy to provide tips for excursions.

Fly to Pico Island, one of the most charming islands of the archipelago. During a walk, explore the spectacular UNESCO World Heritage wine-growing area. The contrast of black lava walls, green vines and fig trees, and the deep blue Atlantic Ocean is a sight to behold. Later, stroll through the main town of Madalena. Spend the next four nights here.

Drive to the uninhabited highlands, home to laurel trees and pastures, and visit the beautiful Captain's Lake. From a dreamy viewpoint, start your hike down to the picturesque coastal village of Santo Amaro. End the day with a traditional dinner at 'Adega A Buraca', a local museum, wine press, and distillery.

Take a morning ferry to São Jorge Island. Hike from a plateau down into the valley to Fajã da Caldeira de Santo Cristo, a sleepy nest without road or electricity connections. Continue along the north coast to a fantastic lagoon, a valuable wetland biotope with numerous birds and frogs. Spend the remaining time in the idyllic harbor town of Velas before taking the ferry back to Pico.

Enjoy a free morning. You might want to go on a whale tour or visit the wine museum in Madalena. In the afternoon, visit Gruta das Torres, the longest lava cave in Portugal, and learn about the volcanic past of the archipelago.

After breakfast, take a ferry to Faial Island. Visit Capelinhos, where the bizarre lunar landscape is a reminder of the volcanic eruption of 1957/58. Explore the modern underground volcano museum and the old lighthouse. If visibility is good, drive up to the Great Caldeira, an impressive collapse crater in the center of the island. Spend the next two nights on Faial.

In the morning, walk through Horta, the main town of the island. Known as a sailing port for Atlantic crossers, Horta had the first marina in the Azores. Spend the rest of the day exploring the town at your own pace, perhaps visiting the town beach, the museum, or the botanical garden.

Today, you'll fly back to Ponta Delgada. Depending on the flight time, you'll have free time in Horta or in Ponta Delgada in the afternoon. Reflect on your journey during a joint dinner in a restaurant. Spend one night in Ponta Delgada.

After breakfast, you'll be transferred to the airport for your return flight to Germany, marking the end of your unforgettable journey through the Azores.
