From the 2,800-meter mark, embark on a guided hike to reach the Barbagallo crater at 3,000 meters. Along the way, marvel at the dramatic summit craters and observe recent lava flows from December 2023, immersing yourself in the raw power and beauty of Etna’s volcanic landscape.
Your expert guide will lead you to fascinating geological features, including an effusive vent from the 2002 eruption and the interior of a lava channel.
